String Descriptions

*I hope this list of string description/experience help you choose the string you want before restringing!

**String is part of the racket and in theory make up from 0 to 10% of your performance in game...so don't expect it to carry your skill...it's like consuming pre workout boost before working out.

Aerobite:

Best. String. Ever. <-- if I have to describe the Aerobite in three words. The power, durability, and sound are top notch compared to many other strings that I have used before.

*This string has 2 sizing, on the main is much thicker for increase in durability, as for the cross, much thinner for additional shuttle controls.

Aerobite Boost

On par with Aerobite, honestly, still testing/using it currently. If you like to display all your known technique, not sure if there's anything that can beat this string.

*This string has 2 sizing, on the main is much thicker for increase in durability, as for the cross, much thinner for additional shuttle controls.

BG-66 Ultimax

High control string (don't expect it to do the work for you...) especially during net play. Not recommended for players who only smashes most the time. IT WILL BREAK WITHIN LIKE 2 WEEKS IF YOU DO :P

Nanogy 98

All well balanced string if you are sick of trying out the BG series strings then the next step is nanogy 98, however, the durability is a bit lacking even though the string's diameter is quite large.

BG-65 TI

The good old days string. Marginal decrease in string's diameter which gives a bit of extra control while maintaining the durability. I used to mainstream this after playing on BG-65 for years. It's a great string just like how captain america was, but now the new generation will take over.

BG-68 TI

Very similar to BG-65 TI, it can produce high power while still very durable and has optimal control. My coach's (Evan :D) favorite string I think...since he uses it all the time.

Aerosonic

One of the thinner strings, but don't let this fool you for low durability. If you can precisely hit the sweet spot in the racket, then Aerosonic will greatly upgrade your shots abilities. If I ran out of Aerobite, this is definitely my first back up. Definitely in one of my top 3 strings.

Exbolt 63

Very thin string, however, if can hit the sweet spot, it will enhance all your shots far more than any of the BG series...might even surpass the nanogy series as well. My mother's favorite string. She said, "Awesome, amazing, and phenomenal string."

*Not recommend for players who's still training to hit the sweet spots precisely.

Nanogy 99

Used to be my favorite string since the thickness and control does not have a negative effect on smashing power. Also, quite common among the players compared to other strings.

BG-80 Power

According to my good friend and one of the best badminton players in my opinion, Jop Horning, quote on 80 power, "the most versatile strings in my opinion. As the name suggests, repulsion power is king.

Nanogy 95

More on the durable side compared to Nanogy 99 and 98. I used this string for about half a year but did not have a good remark on me. However, it might be one of the best strings for you so definitely try it if you are curious!

BG-66 Force

Thin string that has great control and the touch while making soft shots. The durable is quite lacking though, usually have to restring multiple times over the years. Feel very much the same as BG-66 Ultimax to me.

BG-65

Entry level yet high grade string. If you don't know what to choose from then BG 65 is for you!

For more info check out https://www.yonex.com/badminton/strings/bg65

BG-80

Quite thick but still thinner than its BG counter parts, this mean that it will maintain the durability while giving you additional power. When I was in a smash frenzy phase, BG-80 is my go-to. The power it helps generate is unreal.

Exbolt 65

Very similar to Exbolt 63 with more durability, however, not as much power as most of the other strings listed here.

Li-Ning number 1

Top of the line Li-Ning string, very comparable to Nanogy 99, but a little bit better. Limited quantity.

Badminton String No1 AXJJ018-1- Li-Ning (shopbadmintononline.com)

Li-Ning N 65

Rival of BG-65 and it seems very durable even after stringing it to 30 pounds, limited amount while it last.
